We are committed to reducing our environmental impact, and acknowledge this is a journey of continuous improvement. As a food manufacturing business, our three strategic objectives in the short term are to transition to more sustainable packaging on all our products, divert as much waste from landfill as possible, and reduce the carbon emissions from our manufacturing sites.
Patties is a long-standing member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation, and is committed to ensuring 100% of our branded packaging is recyclable, reusable or compostable by 2025.
Patties is also a member of the Australian ‘RedCycle’ initiative, which facilitates the repurposing of soft plastic waste from Patties’ products via national supermarket deposit schemes.
