Four'N Twenty

LADDER LEADERS AT ETIHAD STADIUM IN 2016

Four’N Twenty has made its mark this year in becoming the first brand to partner with Etihad Stadium to execute a branded zone in the venue.

With over 7,000 seats decked out in yellow and black, the Four’N Twenty zone is set to become a destination for all footy fans. Situated behind the goal posts at the Coventry End the yellow and black seat wraps will spell out ‘FOUR’N TWENTY’.

At every AFL match at Etihad Stadium during 2016, Four’N Twenty will celebrate ‘Pie Time’ where spectators sitting in this branded zone will be given the chance to win one of 420 free pies.

‘Pie Time’ will occur between the 20 minute mark to 24 minutes and 20 seconds in the first and second quarters. However, free pies will only be on offer should a goal be scored during this time.

Footy fans will be able to check to see if they’re in the running to win a free pie by a scratch card handed out at the beginning of the match.

“Four’N Twenty is extremely proud to be the first ever brand with a branded zone at Etihad Stadium during an AFL season. Our pies are synonymous with footy and many fans make it a ritual to grab a Four N’ Twenty when they are cheering on their team,” said Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at Patties Foods, Steven Chaur.

In the case that neither team score in this 4 minute and 20 second timeframe or should pies be left unclaimed, Four’N Twenty will generously donate the pies to The Father Bob Maguire Foundation. Each week a minimum of 100 pies will be donated regardless of the result during ‘Pie Time’. Established in 2003, the foundation aims to end homelessness; giving all kids a fair start to life and feeding those who aren’t guaranteed a meal.

Executive Officer of The Father Bob Maguire Foundation Zach Wheeler says, “We are extremely grateful to the team at Four’N Twenty for choosing our charity to be the recipients of the pies.

“It is the foundation’s mission to ensure that disadvantaged children and other members of society are always provided with a meal – it’s wonderful that these pies can assist with this undertaking.”

Four’N Twenty was established in 1947 when baker Mr LT McClure began baking pies in Bendigo. It wasn’t long before popularity brought the business to Melbourne and of course, the football. In 2003, Patties Foods bought the Four’N Twenty business, continuing the ever important Australian tradition of a football game and a hot pie.
