Welcome to Patties

In 1966, after migrating from the Netherlands and working at their local bakery, Peter and Annie Rijs bought a small cake shop named Patties in Lakes Entrance, Victoria. Wanting to offer their customers more than just sweet treats, they introduced delicious hot pies to the menu. The rest, as they say, is history. It was not long before their business began to boom, and, bite by bite, the Patties legend began to grow. By the mid-eighties, thanks to its famous pies, pastries and party food, Patties had become a household name.

Today, Patties’ factory in regional Victoria is proudly the largest pie bakery in the world, and one of biggest employers in the area.

Paul has a long track record of successfully running and growing leading consumer goods businesses in Australia and New Zealand. He brings a valuable combination of operations, sales and marketing and general management skills to the business and has worked across both public and private companies.

Before joining Patties Foods in October 2016, Paul was more recently CEO of Primo Foods. Prior to Primo, Paul has held roles as CEO of Petuna and Corporate Express, and senior leadership roles at Goodman Fielder.+

Siobhan joined Patties Foods in 2017. Siobhan has extensive experience across the consumer goods industry as CFO of ALH Group and previously Lion Dairy & Drinks, API (Priceline), and Fosters. Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with a Masters of Commerce, Majors in Finance & Accounting (University of Sydney)
Anand Surujpal

Before joining Patties Foods in April 2017 as General Manager of Marketing & Innovation, Anand was Head of Marketing for SPC (Coca Cola Amatil Group). Prior to CCA, Anand held senior marketing and innovation roles in McCains, George Western Foods and SC Johnson. With a range of extensive experience across ANZ, Asia & the US.
